The five go-karts
Pedal karts on three frames, each with BERG's own age guide: Buddy 3 to 8 years, Rally 4 to 12 years, XL 5 years to adult. 4 of the 5 are under €500, and every kart is delivered free. They are held in our own Irish warehouse.
Gifts under €500: trampolines
The 4 trampolines in our lowest price band. Check each tile: an in-ground model needs groundwork by an installer before it can be used, so it suits a planned present better than a surprise. BERG's manual does not recommend its garden trampolines for children under 6.

The bigger present that the accessories hang from. 4 frames from €999. The Wall fixes to a load-bearing brick or block wall; the others stand on their own.
Hiding it and timing it
A big outdoor present brings two practical problems: where it waits, and when it gets built. Here is what we can tell you for certain.
- It arrives boxed. A trampoline or climbing frame comes on a pallet to the kerbside. You move the boxes in from there, so have a garage, shed or spare room ready.
- Someone must sign for it. Arrange for an adult to be at home, and tell us if there is a narrow lane or a long unpaved drive.
- In stock means within 48 hours. Otherwise delivery is typically 7 to 10 days. We confirm the date when you order.
- Assembly is yours. We supply and deliver. BERG's manual covers putting each product together, so read it and set time aside ahead of the day.
If the date matters, ring us before ordering and we will tell you whether your model is in stock. For Christmas there are fixed order-by dates on the Christmas page, and the birthday page sorts ideas by age.
Matching the present to the child
Go by BERG's guides where they exist. Go-kart frames each have an age guide, PlayBase is for ages 3 and up, and its fitness accessories are for 14 and over. For a trampoline, start with the garden: the size guide shows how to measure, and a first trampoline lists the models we suggest starting with.
Questions people ask
How far ahead should I order a gift?+
Models in stock are delivered within 48 hours. If the one you want is not in stock, delivery is typically 7 to 10 days, and we confirm the date when you order. Allow time on top of that to put it together before the day.
Will the box give the surprise away?+
It may. Products arrive in BERG's own boxes and we cannot promise the outside is plain. Plan for an adult to take the delivery, and have somewhere out of sight ready before it comes.
Do you assemble or gift-wrap?+
Neither. We supply and deliver. Everything arrives boxed and you put it together from BERG's manual, so leave yourself time before the day.
What can I give a child under six?+
BERG's manual does not recommend its garden trampolines for children under 6. BERG rates the Buddy go-kart from three and the PlayBase for ages 3 and up, so for a younger child we point to those. The ages 3 to 5 page has them.
Can a gift be returned if it does not suit?+
Yes, within 14 days of delivery. For a change of mind you pay the return delivery. If something arrives faulty, damaged or wrong, we cover it.
Is delivery free on a smaller present?+
Delivery is free on orders over €300, and on every go-kart whatever its price. Smaller orders, such as a single PlayBase accessory, have a delivery charge of €11.99.
Can I collect a present instead of having it delivered?+
Yes, from our warehouse, by appointment only. Ring us first to arrange a time.
