    The band with the most in it: 51 products, of which 41 are trampolines. It takes in 23 Champion and 15 Elite models, in sizes from 7 x 11ft (330 x 220cm) to 17 x 11.5ft (520cm), along with 3 PlayBase climbing frames and 7 ready-made PlayBase sets.

    All of it is delivered free in Ireland. Each grid below has filters, so you can cut it down by shape, enclosure and garden size.

    13 above-ground trampolines, 11ft (330cm) to 17 x 11.5ft (520cm), from €1,079. Round, oval and rectangular, each with its net in the price.

    19 models with a low raised edge, 11ft (330cm) to 17 x 11.5ft (520cm). 13 include a safety net, from €1,009; the rest are sold without. The groundwork is quoted separately by an installer.

    FlatGround, level with the lawn

    9 trampolines that sit flush with the grass, 7 x 11ft (330 x 220cm) to 16 x 10ft (500 x 300cm), from €1,099. One, the BERG Ultim Champion FlatGround 410 Grey + Safety Net DLX XL, comes with a net; the others are supplied without.

    PlayBase climbing frames

    The free-standing PlayBase frames, from €1,349. Each is 1 m deep and 2.45 m high; the width and the number of accessory points go up with the price. Accessories are extra.

    Other budgets

    Spending €1,000 to €2,000 well

    With 41 trampolines in one band, it is easy to compare the wrong things. Fix the two that do not depend on money first: the size the garden allows, and whether the trampoline will stand on legs or sit in the lawn. What is left is usually a short list from two ranges.

    Champion against Elite

    Both have the same springs and jumping mat. Elite has heavier frame tubing and a longer warranty on the protective edge. Whether that is worth the difference at your size is covered in Favorit, Champion or Elite, and the periods are in the warranty guide.

    Trampoline or climbing frame

    This is the first band where a free-standing PlayBase is an option. It suits a garden where a trampoline's clearance is hard to find, or a family that wants swings and climbing for ages 3 and up. See the PlayBase buying guide.

    Close to either edge? €500 to €1,000 has most of the Favorit range, and over €2,000 has the 16ft rectangles and the Pro Bouncer. A free garden consultation will narrow it to two or three.

    What does €1,000 to €2,000 buy that less does not?+

    Mainly the Champion and Elite ranges with a net, and the bigger shapes. Above ground, this band runs up to 17 x 11.5ft (520cm). It also takes in 9 FlatGround models and the free-standing PlayBase frames.

    What is the cheapest Elite trampoline?+

    The BERG SPORTS Elite InGround 330 Grey, at €1,109. It is 11ft (330cm) and comes without a safety net. With a net, Elite starts at €1,449.

    Is delivery included?+

    Yes. Everything in this band is over our €300 threshold, so delivery is free anywhere in Ireland. It comes on a pallet to the kerbside and you move the boxes in from there. Models in stock are delivered within 48 hours; otherwise it is typically 7 to 10 days and we confirm the date when you order.

    Does the in-ground or FlatGround price include fitting?+

    No. We supply and deliver the trampoline. The groundwork is done by an installer, landscaper or builder who looks at the garden and quotes you directly. We can put you in touch with an independent installer if you would like.

    A PlayBase frame or a ready-made set?+

    A set is a frame with a chosen group of accessories, bought in one go. A frame on its own lets you pick each accessory yourself and add more later, since they clip on and off. If you already know you want swings and rings, a set saves choosing. The PlayBase buying guide compares them.

    Is a dearer trampoline a bigger one?+

    Not always. In this band you will find the same size in different ranges at different prices: an 11ft round, for example, appears in Champion and in Elite. The range sets the springs, the padding and the warranty. The size should be set by the garden.
