Clear ground is the trampoline plus BERG's 2 m on every side. Garden bands: compact needs up to 7 m, medium 7 to 8 m, large more than 8 m. Prices checked on the shop in October 2026.

BERG's manual asks for at least 2 m clear of trees, fences and other obstacles on every side, and 7 m of clear height measured from the ground. The 17 x 11.5ft size picked above needs 9.2 m x about 7.5 m of level ground, which puts it with our large gardens.

A trampoline on legs can be moved by strong wind. BERG's advice is to secure it with an anchor set and to take the net and padding off before a heavy storm.
Both kits fit any make of trampoline standing on grass. Ground anchors do not hold in a patio, concrete or gravel. Check them after every named storm and tighten or re-seat any that have lifted. Ordered with a trampoline they travel free; on their own, delivery is €11.99.
Four galvanised steel corkscrew anchors with four webbing straps and buckle tensioners. The straps go over the frame and can be tightened again when the ground softens.

Start with the garden. BERG asks for 2 m clear on every side and 7 m overhead, so each size needs its own length and width plus 4 m. The table on this page gives the clear ground for every size in this line. If two sizes fit, the larger one is the one children grow into.
BERG's manufacturer warranty for the Favorit range covers the frame for 5 years, or 8 once you register the trampoline with BERG. Springs are covered for 2 years, the jumping mat for 2 and the protective edge for 2. It covers material and manufacturing defects in domestic use.
